Rodrego brings to Janas M&A expertise in communications and technology. His international experience adds to the Janas reach in both domestic and international markets.
Rodrego delivers actionable advice and representation to clients from a wide range of industry types. He interfaces with Boards of Directors, creditors, investors and other stakeholders in connection with M&A transactions. His expertise includes obtaining debt and equity capital for clients, negotiating strategic partnerships and alliances, directing the content of commercial business agreements, and related matters.
Rodrego teaches in the Department of Management, College of Business and Finance at California State University – Los Angeles. Research and teaching include entrepreneurship, strategy and negotiations, ethics, leadership and communications.
He was Co-Founder and Director of Blue Beacon Capital engaged in M&A transactions and finance representation on behalf of clients in communications and technology. He has crafted financial models, performed valuation analyses, and made presentations to clients, potential investors, and financing sources.
Rodrego was previously a senior associate in equity research, internet infrastructure and communications at UBS, New York. Previously, at J.P. Morgan, New York, he researched and forecasted emerging trends, software applications and investment opportunities in the e-business sector. He analyzed telecommunication trends in Mexico and South America.
