Reducing Post-Closing Trauma

(Litigation Support) – A client that sold its assets just prior to the Great Recession. Several months after closing a substantial customer switched to Chinese vendors, which made life even more difficult for the Buyer, an automotive parts manufacturer. The Buyer sued the Sellers, their accountants and attorneys, but not Janas. Counsel for the Seller, our client, deposed Janas consultants both for their industry expertise and regarding disclosures made during due diligence. Partially based on this testimony, the case was settled with the Janas client retaining all the cash received in the sale.
